Change or Die

Finished 2009 by reading Change or Die. Recommended by George. Wonderful book! Cannot recommend it too highly if you are in to changing something in your life, organization, business, etc., or just knowing why/how change works. Or doesn't.
As usual, I am totally blown away and will probably oversell it thus turning off some prospective readers. But those who pick it up will be amazed and empowered.
Basic points are that change does not happen through fact or fear. People have facts that indicate they should change but they do not. People have many threats/fears that reasonable folks would respond to by changing. Yet they do not. Why? You will have to read the book.
It's short, an easy read with several true life stories about companies, organizations and real life experiments. Need one more reason to read it? If there is something you wish to change, the chances of your success are 9 to 1 against you unless you understand the common denominators of what makes change happen.
While we are not all faced with Change or Die decisions, we could all use change in some one or more areas of our lives. This book gives the clearest message on this subject I have ever read. It is empowering!
